My daughter Lauren vaults for The Riding Academy Vaulting Club https://www.facebook.com/TRAVaultingCLub. Vaulting is a combination of gymnastics and dance on horseback. I used to coach the walk and trot vaulters, but am taking a break to try to get my business off the ground. There is talk of the club performing at this years Renaissance Fair and having a booth. Sounds awesome no problem, dress the girls as fairies, put pastel streaks in Orion's mane and tail, and dress Rusty in huntsman's clothes. Piece of cake.
Wait I have to come up with something to sell? By April? So here I am trying to think of what I can make a lot of by April that looks classy and represents both vaulting and my shop. Anyone know where I can get vaulting charms? Oh yeah they don't exist. I am sure that I can come up with lots of items, headbands, hair clips, crocheted purses, etc... What I would really like though is to combine the two. So if any one out there has any ideas please let me know.

ReplyDeleteI saw a really neat blog (http://carmicimicata.blogspot.com/2010/06/lovely-cherry-wood-bezel-pendants.html) with pendants filled images and embellishments under resin. Might be a little out of your usual fair but your daughter on her horse would make a great image. Best of Luck!
